Rookie First-Round QBs Get To Show Their Stuff

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Matt Leinart and Jay Cutler were chosen one after the other in the draft, and have impressed in their first taste of the NFL.

Before they settle in as backups to Kurt Warner and Jake Plummer, respectively, to start the regular season, the two rookies and future franchise quarterbacks get to show their stuff when the Arizona Cardinals and Denver Broncos meet in their preseason finale on Thursday night.

"The draft and all that hype is behind us now," Cutler said. "It's a team game, and hopefully we'll go out there and win the game." Read more
