Braylon Edwards To Return

ClevelandBrowns.com reports that head coach Romeo Crennel has not ruled out playing WR Braylon Edwards (torn ACL) against the Bills in the team's third preseason game. However, Edwards would only play a couple of snaps. "We'll have to see how the practice week goes," Crennel said. "If the week goes well and he is feeling good, we might have to give him one or two reps to see if he can move around against some different competition, in a more competitive situation. He's making good progress. We're being conservative and cautious. We'll give him a few reps when we think he's ready."

Fantasy Spin
: This would definitely be one of the fastest recoveries from an ACL tear ever -- which is something to keep in mind in case he hurts his knee again. He's either a quick healer or he'll risk getting hurt coming back too soon. He sustained the injury in early December and is about one month ahead of schedule. When healthy, Edwards has played like a potential No. 1 Fantasy WR, but owners cannot pick him on that potential alone, especially since he tore his ACL. Consider him a reserve WR worth a middle- to late-round pick for the start of the season and a potential No. 3 WR once he gets back into the flow of the game. Remember that he doesn't exactly play in a dynamic offense.
